SHIPPING POLICY

Shipping within Iceland
Orders within Reykjavik and in rural Iceland will be shipped within 3-5 days with the Icelandic Postal Service (Pósturinn). Shipments are delivered to personal addresses or the nearest local post office.

International Shipping
Express International orders will be shipped by our partners TNT, UPS, FedEx, DHL within 6-8 days or the Icelandic Post within 3-6 weeks from the order confirmation. A tracking number for each shipment will allow for customers to track their orders at Icelandic Postal website http://www.postur.is/en/. and we will provide tracking information for our other shipping partners. The shipments will be delivered to the order delivery address or the nearest local post office. 

Delivery Time
Customers should expect to receive their orders by our fast shipping within 3-8 days or by Icelandic Post within 3-6 weeks from receiving a shipping confirmation. Shipping times may vary, but we work our hardest to get you your order as quickly as possible.

  • This does not apply for pre-orders. If your order includes one or more pre-order items, we will hold your order and send it to you when all items are in stock.

* COVID-19 delay: Please note that during the COVID-19 period, international packages are experiencing longer transit times due to shipping carrier delays.

Shipping Terms
Import duties and taxes are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are your responsibility and will be collected from you by the carrier upon delivery.

​Please check with your country’s custom office to determine what these additional costs are prior to purchase. Relevant shipments will include a bill from Gracelandic's shipping partner, UPS, Fedex, DHL. TNT. Please note that as your local Customs Bureau imposes these charges, we are unable to state the exact amount you will need to pay. If customers choose to accept these shipping terms, they will be responsible for all customs charges applied to their shipments upon their arrival. In addition, should customers request an exchange then they will also be charged taxes and duties on the new item.

Shipping Charges.
Please make sure your shipping address is correct. Orders that are returned because of an invalid address may be reshipped at your expense. After an order has been delivered to the correct shipping address, we cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages. Any additional shipping costs are non-refundable.

** Orders placed on Friday after 1:00 PM GMT will begin processing the following Monday. Transit times do not include Saturday, Sunday or holidays.


Tracking

You will receive an automated confirmation email after your order has been submitted, and a second automated email containing tracking information once your order has been shipped. If you do not see these confirmation emails in your inbox, try checking your spam or trash folder. All automated confirmation emails will be sent to the email address provided on the order. Note that email addresses cannot be modified once the order has been submitted.

International orders will be shipped using premium shipping with DHL, TNT, FedEx or UPS or by the Iceland post.
If you prefer a particular shipping method, let us know.

RETURN POLICY

  • You may return or exchange a product within two weeks (14 days) of order receipt. 

  • The product must be returned in new and unused condition along with the original packaging, and clothing tag attached. If the tag is removed then Gracelandic reserves the right to decline the return.

  • Our gift cards can't be exchanged for cash. However if you return a product purchased with a Gracelandic gift card the refunded amount will be credited directly back to your Gracelandic gift card.

  • Please be aware that discounted products (this includes Pre-Order and Sales items) are not refunded, you can either exchange them for a different item or we give you a voucher.

 

If we shipped you the wrong product, or it arrived defective or damaged

  • We apologize and we will send a replacement or refund you for your purchase, provided the returned item(s) are received back in their original packaging.

  • Customers must inspect all packages upon receipt and notify us, within 14 day of any damage or discrepancies. If customers neglect to give notice within this time the customers lose any right to make a claim.

 

If you ordered the wrong item, wrong size, or simply changed your mind

  • We will refund you for your purchase (minus the shipping cost), provided the returned item(s) are received back in their original packaging.

  • You will be responsible for return shipping costs of non-defective product.

  • Gracelandic reserves the right to investigate all claims before authorizing return of the product. Shipment of authorized returns should be made within 30 days of the issuance of the return authorization.

* All accessories including bags, scrunchies, berets/bucket hats, belts, and scarves are final sale and can not be returned.  If you send an accessory item back to us for a return, we will not be able to process a refund.  

 

Payment method

We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, and PayPal. We do not accept personal checks, money orders or direct bank transfers. We accept payments in six instalments to make our products inclusive for all.

 

Refund 

Refunds may only be issued to the credit card used to make the original purchase. Please allow 3-5 business days for your return to be processed and then 5-10 business days for your bank to post the refund to your account.  We’ll send an email once the item(s) have been received and your refund has been processed.  Please note that your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information from us.
